Project Overview: Brand strategy, series & event logo design, campaign, website/mobile design & UI/UX, venue signage & branding, social media strategy & assets

The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship features the world’s fastest outdoor motocross racers, racing aboard the best bikes each factory offers, on the roughest, toughest tracks in the world. The races are featured live throughout the summer on NBC and NBC Sports, as well as live streamed on the property website.

branding & campaign

To distinguish the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship from other racer series, custom logos were created to brand the series and each event. In addition, a combination of graphical elements and photo treatments were used to market the races. Blue and red are some of the primary colors used to differentiate from the black and green of the winter Supercross race series, but also to represent the outdoor/blue sky atmosphere of the summer races and American motorsport passion.

The website was custom designed and built to showcase all the media for the races, from the live stream to original content and highlights. Custom social media assets were created for every race and even personalized for top riders, to promote the races.

venue & track branding

The series campaign was carried through all forms of media for a consistent look and feel at every consumer touch point. This was true for even the track signage and venue structures as the blue brand color and graphical elements were incorporated into printed banners and signage.
