Ss Brewtech is one of the leading designers and manufactuers of stainless steel brewing equipment, both for the professional and home brewer. They were one of the first to scale down the stainless steel pro equipment for the home brewer, eliminating the plastic buckets and DIY equipment typically used. A high level of design and engineering positioned them as a market leader and innovator.

 Packaging

The redesign of packaging served multiple purposes. For both existing and new products, I designed and developed improved packaging solutions that protected products and secured the included accessories (while in transit) as the product box also served as the shipping box. I worked directly with the overseas factories providing detailed instructions and visuals for how to best produce the packaging. The second purpose of the redesign was for the box to also serve as retail store marketing and merchandising by branding the boxes with logos and simplified engineering line drawings. In contrast to the modern and minimalistic aesthetic of the outer box, a logo repeat pattern on a bold blue background was printed on the inside of the boxes to provide a pop of color and branding.

Ss Brewtech attends numerous trade shows throughout the year so I designed, modeled and built a modular trade show booth to accommodate the different size shows and spaces. Stained Alder boards were used to build the partitions and contrast nicely with the stainless steel equipment to give the feel of a craft brewing environment. Dibond printed signage was used to brand the booth, keeping the brushed stainless asethetic of the brand. Product cards and promotional items were also produced for marketing purposes.

product guides

Product guides were created to help customers with any gear assembly as well as provide usage and care instructions. Using 3D models and technical illustrations I was able to provide detailed visuals and unique views that explained how products are assembled and function.

An apparel collection was designed and produced to compliment the product line and to increase brand awareness and presence.
